This pen body and cap is designed specifically to allow owners of the ubiquitous Sailor "FUDE DE MANNEN" fountain pen, most typically used for calligraphy and by Urban Sketchers to have a more beautiful, pleasing or exciting pen to perform their craft.
The FUDE nib, pronounced "foo-deh" which means "bent" in Japanese allows the user to create variances in line widths due to the rotation of the nib 360 degrees around its center.
The Fude Freedom" model pen allows you to simply unscrew the section from your existing Sailor pen, (either the 55 degree or the 40 degree) which typically retails for less than $25 USD and then insert into this Dave Dollar Custom Pens replacement barrel with cap.
